Laura Poitras is a documentary filmmaker, photographer, and the director of Citizenfour, the Oscar-winning film on Edward Snowden and the post 9/11 NSA domestic spying scandal. In 2004 she directed My Country, My country a�� the film that convinced Snowden to choose Poitras to direct Citizenfour.
